FNV4GB is a tool to load Fallout New Vegas with the Large Address Aware executable flag set so the entire 4GB Virtual Memory Address Space can be used by the game. Mission Mojave. Mission Mojave and WMX not working together? User Info: EtherealFlame07. EtherealFlame07 5 years ago #1. Everything runs just fine until I activate the compatibility patch for MMUE and WMX. Doesn't matter where I throw it in the load order, the game crashes on launch. Does anyone have any experience with such a situation?

@Korassu Your problems in Goodsprings do not appear to be the result of the MMUE compatibility patch. Using FNVEdit / GECK, I find that the MMUE patch does not alter *any* of the Goodsprings NPCs - not the settlers, not Easy Pete, and not Sunny. So what is seen and experienced in Goodsprings is strictly the result of other mods.
I also did a 'from scratch' install of the game, then added MMUE, then FCO (which NVR3 requires), then NVR3 and its patch that updates it to v2.7, and then finally the current MMUE patch ... created a new character ... and everything looks just fine in Goodsprings. No odd faces, and no <!>.
NOTE: this is with FCO masters and esp files disabled, as recommended by NVR3.
The <!> appears when meshes / textures are missing. It indicates a faulty or missing install. The Sunny one can happen if FCO has not been installed (which is required by NVR3). Definitely not caused by MMUE's patch.
The 'pink' faces is the result of a need for you to set bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles=1 in the various .ini files, and/or toggle 'Archive Invalidation'. Again, not caused by MMUE's patch.
So you might want to revisit the Description page of New Vegas Redesign 3 and very carefully reinstall FCO + NVR3 according to those instructions; note that there is an Orange text link ( Detailed instructions on how to install New Vegas Redesigned 3 ) for an installation walk-through.

As for the v2.6 versus v2.7 thing ... it appears to be irrelevant. Nothing changed for v2.7 that matters for the MMUE compatibility patch with regard to the main NVR3 install. And if you choose to use any of the 'alternate' versions provided by v2.7 (e.g. Cass and Usanagi) which I also installed, just place them lower (later) in your load order than the MMUE patch as shown above; the differences are negligible.
